Letter to Cousin

Jeramy, The other day when I told you I was taking a class in technical and professional communication, you mentioned you were not all that sure what that meant. I decided to write this letter for you to simply outline what technical and professional communication is.  As you know, I am going into financial planning for a career after college. Once I start working for a firm, I am going to need to be able to communicate clearly, effectively, and professionally. This goes with both written and spoken communication with fellow employees, and with clients. I will need to be able to write and speak in ways that are clear and concise. I will need to give presentations to potential clients in powerful and effective ways. I will need to be able to write complex business proposals in a way that is easy to understand.
